The Exhibition Hall and Museum of the History of Vacuumash JSC was established in 2009 at the initiative of the company’s General Director, Evgeny Nikolaevich Kapustin. In December 2023, Vacuumash JSC celebrated its 80th anniversary. To mark this important milestone, a complete reconstruction of the exhibition hall and museum was carried out. Today, the Vacuumash JSC Exhibition Hall and Museum holds an honorable place among corporate museums of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan. It is the only museum in the Russian Federation that reflects the history and modern development of the vacuum equipment manufacturing industry.
■ The exhibition hall and museum is located in the administrative building of the enterprise and consists of three exhibition halls representing different periods of the company’s history: from 1943 to 1980; from 1980 to 2010; from 2010 to the present day. The museum displays more than 500 exhibits, including vacuum equipment and other historical items. The thematic zoning divides the exhibition space into historical and modern sections.
■ The museum exhibitions demonstrate the key stages of the enterprise’s development, its uniqueness, and its significant contribution to the industry. Video displays present films about the company, organically complementing the exhibitions with information stands and numerous examples of products manufactured by the enterprise.
■ Our exhibition hall and museum serves as a guardian of the company’s memory, heritage, traditions, and achievements. The rich collection allows visitors to follow the entire history of the plant — from its establishment and formation to its modern development. Each historical period is represented through rare documentary photographs and video materials preserving the memory of generations of plant employees who made a valuable contribution to the company’s success. Among the museum exhibits are: historical documents; samples of finished vacuum equipment; personal belongings of company veterans; workshop chronicles and commemorative albums; audio recordings of employees’ memories; a collection of newspaper publications about the plant; book and archival collections; awards and inventor certificates for technical innovations.
■ Our exhibition hall and museum serves as a bridge connecting the past and the future. It presents examples of vacuum equipment manufactured by the company in previous years as well as modern products currently being produced.
■ Our exhibition hall and museum is dedicated to everyone whose efforts made the company’s achievements possible today — workers, engineers, specialists, administrative employees, and the entire outstanding and united team of the plant.
